Description : Aceclofenac 100 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg + Serratiopeptidase 15 mg tablets comes under the brand name of “TOPSIMOLSP”. The combination of this drug works through a triple mechanism to treat pain relief, reduce inflammation etc. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzyme (COX) which is responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are chemical messengers that cause pain, swelling and inflammation at the site of injury or tissue damage. Paracetamol which is also known as acetaminophen acts predominantly in the CNS to raise the pain threshold and reduce fever. It has synergistic effect with aceclofenac to boost pain relief. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme, breaks down abnormal dead protein at the site of inflammation to promote faster healing and reduce fluid retention.
